About e3

The Gulf oil spill is a tragedy that should not have occurred. As a result of this environmental failure the Connecticut Maritime Association has identified the need to build a better link between community, energy and marine transportation. A communication platform capable of providing the general public and our younger generation access to the knowledge and expertise the Connecticut Maritime Association membership holds.

e3 is an education forum with the mission to keep the industry responsible, create a bridge between old and new energy sources and protect the United States, East Coast and Connecticut beaches and shorelines from environmental calamity.

The Connecticut Maritime Association is a non-profit organization made up of individuals representing every aspect of the shipping and international maritime trade. Throughout its history, CMA has been successful in taking a positive and very successful role in providing a platform for the exchange of information for its members. Seminars and lectures are held periodically, and each Spring the CMA sponsors a Conference and Trade Show which has become the pre-eminent shipping conference in North America. Attracting industry leaders from all over the world, the three day, multifaceted trade show includes dynamic exhibits from 120 maritime related companies and organizations, seminars and lectures conducted by experts in the field and attendance by over 1,700 potential clients each day.
